Welcome. In this unit, we’re going to be looking at the basics. How did we get the Scriptures? And what is an overview of the interpretive journey that we’re going to be looking at over the next few units? One of the things we’ll be focusing on is how did we get the Bible? Where did the modern day translations come from? Where did they start? How was the 66 books of the Bible put together? We’ll also be looking at some of the key individuals who had their thumbprints over this whole process and has led up to the modern translations that we have today. And then finally, again, just an overview of the interpretive journey. How do we accurately interpret what the Scriptures have to say?
