We are going to continue now with session ten. And our topic this time is called "The Impact of Evolution on Society, Morally and Spiritually, Part 2." In our past session we looked at what happens to a society that willingly chooses to remove God through the evolutionary indoctrination. Now I would like to talk to you about what takes place to individuals or a society spiritually.
We begin by turning to Jeremiah 11:9-11,
And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers. Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. (KJV)
You see, according to the Bible, there is a pattern that takes place. When man removes God from his thinking, he will eventually begin to seek after spiritual reality. We saw in Jeremiah’s time, man turning away from God to the gods, and the prophet warned that judgment is coming.
The Bible also indicates to us that history repeats itself. In Ecclesiastes 1, we are told that there is really nothing new under the sun. Whatever has happened before, can happen again. And so, it is important when we check out history (that is biblical history) to see what has taken place to man spiritually. In order to do so, we need to go back to the Garden of Eden were the fall occurred. You will recall what occurred—Eve took of the forbidden tree. God had instructed Adam and Eve not to take of the forbidden tree, and Satan came to the Garden of Eden in the embodiment of the serpent and enticed Eve to disobey God. She did. Adam did. And as a result of their disobedience, it triggered the curse upon Adam and Eve and upon the entire creation.
Then as we read through the Genesis record, we see that the wickedness of mankind became so great, that God was grieved that He had created man. And then He warned of and He brought a judgment, which was the flood—a worldwide catastrophic event. There were eight survivors. That great Flood destroyed the world.
In one of our previous presentations, we looked at what occurred. An original earth much different than the earth we know today, was wiped out and destroyed as the fountains of the great deep broke up. The windows of heaven were opened in some sort of a cosmic catastrophe, and the waters covered the land. There were tremendous waves sweeping over the land masses, burying and destroying life. The Bible says there was a flood and the evidence on earth supports it.
Now those who survived, you would have thought they would have been the most obedient people who had ever lived! But the Bible tells us that it did not take very long and these survivors began to multiply and have families. God once more called them to spread around the world and they ignored what He wanted them to do.
Genesis 11:1-4 says,
And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. (KJV)
So rather than being obedient to God, they were disobedient. The Bible tells us they built a city and a tower.
And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. (Gen 11:5-8 KJV)
The city of Babylon was a real place, built by real people, who were survivors of the flood. They were in rebellion to God and they built a tower to reach the heavens not by height, but to communicate with the spirit world. And you cannot understand biblical history unless you understand that God has an adversary, Satan. And Satan has followers, the fallen angels. And ancient man, as we are going to see throughout history has constantly been involved in communicating with that dimension which God forbids.
The people were dispersed, as various groups that spoke similar languages went to various places. Archaeology bears up the fact that all over the world, we see the sudden emergence of great civilizations who built cities and temples and pyramids, like those in Egypt, Indonesia, or in Central America—all over the world. These people were worshipping the gods. They believed the sun is god, the moon is god, and the earth is god. We see this in the archaeological remains of great civilizations.
So this is exactly what the Bible claims, that removing God from man’s thinking, man will turn to the gods. And as Jeremiah said, judgment comes upon civilizations that go this direction. And when we look at the archaeology of ancient civilizations, we see the artifacts, but where are the people? They are gone! They have disappeared! The children of Israel fell into this trap. Repeatedly the Bible says that God instructed them to be obedient to His Word.
See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. (KJV)
So it is a clear warning that they were not to get involved as the pagans surrounding them in their practices. And what happened? Judges 2:11-12 says,
And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim: And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD to anger. (KJV)
And we know from biblical history what occurred; there was judgment on the children of Israel because they were disobedient. They had not listened to what God had said, and they were exiled into judgment where many perished.
There is nothing new under the sun, as we stated. Ecclesiastes 1:9-11.
The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us. There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after. (KJV)
Now what I want to do in this presentation is to demonstrate that in our generation we have seen a situation which is preparing us to accept the gods—that is the practices of the ancient pagans. In a society which boldly proclaims that we have intellectually discovered all that we can discover through man’s ways. This is a society that has willingly chosen to reject the Creator through evolution. We are going to see that we are following on the same pathway as the ancients. There is nothing new under the sun and history is being repeated. But I ask the question—could it be that history may be repeated for the last time?
Over the past couple of decades, since I have become a Christian, I have been following this particular movement. It is called the New Age. Actually I was making observation of things that were taking place before that term New Age was even coined, in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s. I started to notice that there was a reintroduction into society of many of the pagan practices of the ancients, in terms of studying archaeology and seeing what the people of the past were doing. And then I began seeing how it was being reintroduced into society today, and I wondered what was happening. Well, that is when the phrase New Age became popular. The question is whether the New Age is new or is it just something which is reoccurring? And we are going to be looking at some of these practices. Well, one thing I can tell you is that the New Age movement could never have occurred without evolution as its foundation. And I will demonstrate.
We looked at this book previously, The Rise of Life, which shows the progression from lower to higher on the front cover.
But notice the additional artistic representation of the progression of life through time, from lower to higher. On this chart, we see three heads above the single head. You see, this is the new man that is supposedly emerging. That man is on his way onward and upward to higher dimensions of consciousness through the evolutionary process.
You see, the idea of New Age thinking is simply this—anything and everything can be god, including man. Because evolution is behind all things, it is that force which guides and directs things onward and upward. It interconnects anything and everything. There was an explosion and as a result of this explosion, we have the universe and everything in it. Evolution must be sort of a guiding and directing force.
But there are certain methods and techniques that can be introduced in our era to help man to take the next step of evolution, to enlightenment. Well, it may be crystals, or it may the use of meditation. By the way, there are certain practices of yoga and meditation which all come out of Eastern religion, and some are called the serpent power—the Kundalini. This will be very familiar to those who know the Bible, because the Bible talks about the serpent. And incidentally, the first lie recorded in the Bible is when the serpent said to Eve, "You can be as the gods." You see, you do not need to be locked into this dimension. There is more available to you. You do not need to be locked into this dimension. There are things in a higher dimension and so those ideas are becoming quite popular.
Attempts at reaching this higher dimension are made through the use of crystals; or maybe reconsidering the practices of witchdoctors; perhaps looking at the things of the shamanistic world; the use of the horoscope, astral projection, out of body experiences, or channeling—that is, attempting to contact the spirit world or the dead. Or there are other means through creating your own reality through visualization or using color or sound as the means of enhancing higher consciousness. There is also the study of geomancy—living in harmony with the earth.
Now I have collected thousands of books that I have in my library, and I have purchased them at universities and at colleges. Because you see, since the mid ‘80s this has become the leading edge of thought: the equinox and the solstice ceremonies of moon and sun worship is something which is world-wide. I travel to many different places (over forty countries in the past fifteen years) and wherever I have traveled, I have seen the same thing. I see a fascination with the supernatural, the New Age. In Germany there is an interest in astrology. In Argentina there is an interest in crystals. I spoke at a university in Argentina on the subject of the New Age and the entire audience"and I was speaking to university students"were involved in these methods and techniques. In Chile there is an interest in yoga. In China the interest is in astrology. In England there is an interest in witchcraft and the occult. In Japan people are going to what is called a mind gym. They are strapping on goggles with pulsating lights, listening to certain kinds of music to relieve stress.
Several years ago when I was in Tokyo, I went into a very large bookstore and one entire floor was dedicated to New Science, New Biology, New Age. And there were a number of people there and they were carrying out armloads of books. So, with a translator, I went to one of these young ladies and I said, "What are all these different kinds of books?" She explained to me, "They teach me how I can be a higher being." I asked her, "Why would you want to be a higher being?" She said, "Because I am tired of living in this materialistic world."
You see, this is common world wide. I have been to many of the republics of the former Soviet Union and again it is the same thing. Seventy years of promoting evolution through atheism did not produce an atheistic society; it produced a society hungry for spiritual reality.
For example in the Ukraine, there is a fascination with the occult, also in Latvia, in Romania, in Kazakhstan, and in Russia. One teacher told me, "For so many years we were told that we could believe in nothing. Now we believe in everything." And that seems to be the way it is.
When I arrived in Russia in 1990 and we were giving lectures to groups of scientists, in the question and answer period, the questions were never based on science; they were based on spiritual things. These people were hungry for spiritual reality. You see, they had been forced to believe in the non-existence of God and they were looking for spiritual things, but they were looking in the wrong directions.
Now let us get back to North America. Here is a book called, The Possible Human: A Course in Enhancing Your Physical, Mental and Creative Abilities, by Jean Houston. In this book, she has a chapter called "Exercises in Evolutionary Memory."
Several years ago, those who witnessed a spectacle on the lawn of the University of California in Santa Barbara, where a wriggling sea of bodies—350 teachers, professors, physicians, psychiatrists, ministers, nuns, social workers and other members of the professional establishment—crawled over and under each other in a state of active reptilian regression, stared at one another and me with total disbelief. And yet this scene and similar ones have now been repeated hundreds of times. (Houston)
You might wonder, what were these professional people doing? Well, they were going through this evolutionary memory. Jean Houston instructed them to visualize what it was like in their earlier stages of evolutionary development. At first you lie flat, in this case it was in the grass, with your hands beside your side, and you roll from side to side and you visualize what it was like at the fish stage of your evolutionary development. Then you move on and you become an amphibian and then a reptile. That is why they were crawling over each other at the reptilian stage. And then moving onward and upward into an early mammal, late mammal, early man and finally after two and a half hours of this so-called therapy, you become enlightened.
And as Jean Houston describes,
Many [referring to these professional people] feel themselves to be part of the emerging evolutionary process, strongly motivated to go forward as committed and concerned participants now that they have experienced their deep connections with the past. They express themselves as experiencing their spiritual dimension incorporated in a flesh that has become luminous and their physical selves as being the embodiment of their spiritual evolution. (Houston)
So you see, they go through these various phases, onward and upward until eventually they reach modern man and they feel interconnected—part of the evolutionary process—so that they can go on to the next level. And this is where various methods like this come in from the book, Kundalini and the Chakras; Evolution in this Lifetime.
There is another book by Gopi Krishna, Kundalini: The Evolutionary Energy in Man. I challenge you to go on campus at major universities and colleges, and these are the kinds of books you will find. You see, Eastern religion has been promoted as science. And by the way, the whole concept behind this is evolution.
Well it is very current. In Newsweek Magazine, September 27, 2004, "The New Science of Mind and Body." What is this new science? It is not new. You will see a whole group of people going through "Buddha Lessons." And here you see a man who is in this practice of meditation.
You see he is elevating his human consciousness. It is all in the name of science.
Time Magazine, October 25, 2004, reads, "The God Gene. Is God in Our Genes? A provocative study asks whether religion is a product of evolution" (page 62). And note what we read on page 64,
Across the aeons, the structure that religion provides our lives helps to preserve both mind and body. But that in turn has raised a provocative question, one that is increasingly debated in the worlds of science and religion: Which came first, God or the need for God? In other words, did humans create religion from cues sent from above, or did evolution instill in us a sense of divine so that we could gather together in communities essential to keeping the species going? (Time Magazine, 64)
So according to this author from this article, you see a belief in God is something that has evolved. The Bible says that God created. It does not say anything about evolution. In fact, I think we will see as we look through this, that evolution actually is a delusion.
There is a book called, Gaia; an Atlas of Planet Management, and the general editor is Dr. Norman Myers. This is another book which I obtained at a university. This shows the conventional sequence of the evolutionary process occurring over long, long periods of time. It shows non-life becoming life and then life progressing from simple to complex, until here we are today as modern man. And this idea is presented that through time, the evolutionary process actually has been accelerating. They say initially evolution took place very, very, very slowly. But as we approach the modern age, evolution has been accelerating and here we (modern man) are the end product of evolution. And of course, we exist at a time where technology is advanced. Then they make the claim that the technology man has been able to invent and with that technology, he has created the byproducts that now threaten our existence. And they say we are in a global crisis. That is, the byproducts of our technology threaten to destroy us and if we do not evolve or take the next step of evolution, which they call an evolutionary imperative, we are going to be wiped out.
You see, they interpret the whole history of life and man and even the future based on the concept of evolution. And then they even have a suggestion in the book; they say that the only way we can survive globally is to come together as a family of nations and resolve our global problems by having some global rules and some global laws. I find that very interesting, particularly in light of the Scriptures. But we are talking about evolution and its impact on society. I would suggest to you that evolution has actually become a unifying religion. And I will show you how.
There was a conference that was held in Oxford, England in 1988 when scientists, religious leaders, and politicians, gathered together to discuss the global crisis situations. There have been numerous of these kinds of meetings that have been held. Then in August of 2000, in the United Nations, the world religious leaders gathered to discuss global crisis situations. This is reported in this magazine Hinduism Today. The leading article is entitled, "The UN Gets Religion." And I quote from the article, page 19,
More than 1,000 religious leaders from fifty nations gathered from August 28 to September 1st in an unprecedented meeting at the United Nations. They had come together to harness the power of faith, to bring about tolerance, peace, and to dialog among warring nations. Organizer Bua James said, "The general assembly hall of the UN will become a sanctuary where the prayers and blessings our esteemed religious leaders will permeate these walls and leave their imprint for years to come." (James)
So the general assembly hall of the United Nations became a sanctuary. And what kinds of things were discussed? Well, I quote from page 19,
The UN general assembly hall, which is often filled with questions of war and discord, resounded with prayers, mediations and sacred ceremonies, as a distinguished and colorful delegation discussed the role of faith, love, and forgiveness in solving the world’s problems. The summit opened August 28, with the blowing of the conch by Swami Bua, the hundred and twelve year old ascetic who lives in New York City. The hall was then steeped in prayers offered from nearly every faith on earth: Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, Shinto, Islam, Buddhism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, indigenous faiths, Sikhism, Taoism and Baha'i—all the world’s religions. (Hinduism Today)
Ted Turner, by the way, was largely responsible for sponsoring this conference and he gave the keynote address. And in the keynote address he gave some of his testimony. I quote:
Turner states, "I’ve been thinking of this conference for a lot of years. When I was a little boy I was very religious. I was born in a Christian family, went to a Christian school. And I became a Christian, just like you become whatever you’re exposed to as a child. I was going to be a man of the cloth. I’d be sitting out there with you and I would have loved that life. I really would. I was going to be a missionary. First I studied Christianity. But later I started studying the world’s great religions and reading and was always thinking." (Turner)
Well unfortunately, this is a pathway that others have been on. Brought up in Christian homes, believed in the Bible, believed in God, believed in Creation, but then well, it was their education. And as Turner has said, he has turned away. And of course he says there are many ways to God. That was in August of 2000.
And then, as we go along historically, a date that forever changed the world is September 11, which is now known as 9-1-1. It was a major day in history, a pivotal day.
And again these images are always impregnated in our minds of what happened that horrible day when terrorists hijacked airplanes and crashed them into the twin towers and also the Pentagon. There was another one that crashed in Pennsylvania. And from that point on we have heard a lot of talk about religion and peace.
Here is an advertisement that appeared in Time Magazine just a few weeks following the 9-1-1 event.
There we see a number of religions and then beneath the advertisement we read: "God, Allah, Krishna, Waheguru, Jehovah, bless America."
It was on January 24, 2002 in Assisi, Italy that Pope John Paul II invited the religious leaders from around the world to gather in a day of prayer. Representatives included Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Shintoists, Sikhs, Jainists, tribal religions, Confucianism, Zoroastrianism, Catholics, Baptists, Lutherans, Quakers, Mennonites, and Orthodox Christians. So you can see through the years a sort of trend, a direction where things are headed. And of course we are being told the necessity for peace is to try to unify religions. There must be some common denominators.
For years the Baha'is have been stating that there would be no possibility of peace unless there is a global religion. To the Peoples of the World, the Baha'i statement of faith, we read, "No serious attempt, to set human affairs aright, to achieve world peace, can ignore religion." Another one of their books is called, The Baha'i Faith, the Emerging Global Religion. What is this and what could bring it about?
Well, here is an interesting book called, Earth in the Balance: Ecology and the Human Spirit. It was written when Al Gore was a senator. As you know of course, he was vice president for two terms. Al Gore, in this book, provides some interesting ideas and perhaps the direction that things may be headed in the future, regarding the unification for world’s religions. Al Gore, like others, are saying that it is the environment. It is the planet. It is the things that have happened here on the Planet Earth which are the byproducts of our technology that are going to wipe us out. Something must be done. And in his book he states:
The emergence of a civilization in which knowledge moves freely and almost instantaneously throughout the world, has led to an intense new interest in the different perspectives on life in other cultures and has spurred a renewed investigation of the wisdom distilled by all faiths. This pan religious perspective may prove especially important where our global civilization’s responsibility for the earth is concerned. (Gore)
Then he goes on to say that there are many different things within other religions that are common even with Christianity. And he said, we need to look for these common bridges.
Al Gore then quotes Pope John Paul II, who once stated, "The new ecological awareness is beginning to emerge which, rather than being downplayed, ought to be encouraged to develop into concrete programs and initiatives." So, even the pope is talking about a new ecological awareness, and the importance of looking for resolutions.
And then Al Gore quotes Teilhard de Chardin, a former Jesuit priest who is very influential in shaping many New Age ideas. Teilhard de Chardin once stated, "The fate of mankind, as well as of religion, depends upon the emergence of a new faith in the future." So you see there is a lot of talk about a new faith in the future that will resolve our problems and bring religions together for peace.
Al Gore has a possible suggestion in his book. He states that if we could "find a way to understand our own connection to the earth, all of the earth, we might recognize the danger of destroying so many living species and disrupting the climate balance."
James Lovelock, the originator of the Gaia hypothesis, maintains that the entire complex earth system behaves in a self-regulating manner characteristic of something alive. The Gaia hypothesis? What is he referring to? Well, that is the title of James Lovelock’s book, Gaia. And the subtitle is A New Look at Life on Earth. But if you know anything about history, you will know that the word Gaia is not new. It was the word used by the ancient Greeks to worship the goddess of the earth. But Lovelock says it is new. You see, realizing that the earth is a living, evolving entity is very important. He thinks we need to have a relationship with the planet, just like Al Gore has stated.
In books like Earthminds; Communicating with the Living World of Gaia, they say it is all about science and understanding evolution. But when we look back historically, we see that the Greeks worshipped Gaia as a goddess. You see, I am concerned about the direction the world is headed in terms of accepting evolution. And there are some things that have happened, just in the past several years, which indicate that perhaps the world’s religions are ready to get together, not only for peace but maybe to have a common denominator in terms of what they believe.
It was in October 1996, the papers reported and it can be documented that Pope John Paul, at a meeting before the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, said, "Truth cannot contradict truth." He said, "The Bible said God created. But scientists have proven that evolution is true, so God used evolution to create." And this has been very confusing.
I visited Darwin’s home several times, but the last time was October 12, 2002. It has been made into a museum. There you will see numerous books about Darwin. There are posters on the walls. "What an influential man who shaped the minds of billions," statements say. On the second floor of Darwin’s home there is an entire room that is dedicated to this display. There is a picture of Pope John Paul II and the year is 1996. And it was that year, in October, where he declared that God used evolution. And in Darwin’s home is this statement:
One hundred and thirty-eight years after the publication of Darwin’s Origin of Species, and 6,000 years since the creation of the earth as calculated by Archbishop Ussher, the Roman Catholic Church has acknowledged the theory of evolution to be true. The Pope’s acknowledgment of the truth of the evolutionary scientific view of the world’s history ends a long rearguard action fought by the Roman Catholic Church to maintain some literal sense of the Book of Genesis.
Well, let me say it is not just the Catholic Church that has embraced evolution as a means of how God created. There are many, many Christian leaders that have done the same and people are very confused. Evolution is very, very ecumenical. The Hindus believe in evolution. The Buddhists believe in evolution. They believe it is this guiding, directing force. So when I see people gathering together like they did in Assisi in 1986, praying for peace and then again in the year 2002, I am somewhat concerned.
A number of religious leaders gathered with the Pope in 1986, a newspaper article says,
For several hours last week an impressive event put together under his auspices dramatized one of the greatest of all aspirations. At his invitation leaders of the religions of the earth gathered under gloried skies in a tranquil medieval Italian town of Assisi and with quiet dignity uttered prayers for world peace. The throng included Jews, Muslims, Zoroastrians, and all 160 religious representatives from a dozen faiths throughout the world.
And there were even Western Indians present and the article shows a couple of them. They are wearing their headdresses. One is smoking a peace pipe and one is praying and the prayer was recorded.
Smoking a ceremonial peace pipe, John Pretty-on-Top, a Crow Indian medicine man from Montana, in full-feathered headdress recited, "O Great Spirit, I raise my pipe to you, to your messengers, the four winds and to Mother Earth, who provides for your children. I pray you will bring peace to all my brothers and sisters of the world."
Mother Earth? Well, we have already mentioned it. Gaia is Mother Earth spirituality. You see, they say this is the new science, the new biology. And the very belief that evolution explains all things, means that anything and everything is part of this process. A mouse can be god or a man can be god because evolution is god.
There is a book called, The Cosmic Christ by Matthew Fox. In this book, Fox talks about the importance of unification of religion. And I quote in a portion of his book called, "The Cosmic Christ and Deep Ecumenism."
The Cosmic Christ and the living cosmology that the Cosmic Christ ushers into society and psyche have the power to launch an era of what is called deep ecumenism. Deep ecumenism is the movement that will unleash the wisdom of all religions, all world religions, Hinduism and Buddhism, Islam and Judaism, Taoism and Shintoism, Christianity in all its forms and native religions and goddess religions throughout the world. This unleashing of wisdom holds the last hope for the survival of the planet we call home for there is no such thing as a Lutheran sun and a Taoist moon and Jewish ocean and Roman Catholic forest. (Fox)
This is interesting, but even more interesting is this book written by Matthew Fox as well. It is called Creation Spirituality. You see in this series of lectures we are talking about evolution and creation. Well Matthew Fox must believe in Creation. He calls it creation spirituality, but what is this creation spirituality? I quote to you from his book:
As a movement, creation spirituality becomes an amazing gathering place. A kind of watering hole for persons whose passion has been touched by issues of our day. Deep ecologist, ecumenists, artists, native peoples, justice activists, feminists, male liberationists, scientists seeking to reconnect science and wisdom, people of all faith or traditions. (Fox, 141)
As you can see it covers quite a group. But there is one group that is missing, that is Bible-believing Christians. On the back cover we read:
Fox’s framework is for a far-reaching spirituality, a creation-centered spirituality. It uncovers the ancient tradition of creation-centered spirituality that melds Christian mysticism with a contemporary struggle for social justice, feminism, and environmentalism. Finally, Creation Spirituality challenges readers of every religious and political persuasion to unite in a new vision through which we will learn to honor the earth and people who inhabit it as a gift of a good and just creator. Creation Spirituality will bring the world together for peace. (Fox)
And on the front cover, the first thing I observed is a serpent.
The serpent encircles three ladies and according to the artist that painted this cover or painted the illustration for the cover as described in the book, the serpent represents the oneness of life—which is evolution! And the three ladies represent, according to Fox’s idea, the female trinity of god. And you will note the lady at the top in the circle is giving birth to the Planet Earth—the new world order. And then at the bottom you will notice a bird and it is not a dove, it is a raven. I find this fascinating in terms of what we see taking place worldwide. There is a movement toward a one-world religion and a directing of various religious groups together.
By the way, here is an interesting female who is almost becoming an object of worship.
This is Mary, but it is not the Mary of the Bible because this Mary is the head of the church. And above this Mary there is a crown. She is the queen and above her crown you will see a dove. The Bible teaches there is another spirit and there is another Jesus. Are we headed towards a one-world religion in the name of Christ that may see evolution as a unifying factor? Time will tell.
Here is a message, supposedly from an apparition of Mary. "It is God the Father’s wish to reunite all the religions and the races, for them to become only one community and the Eucharist to become the center of all the religions and races. I want all the religions to be reunited and all the races to be reunited. I want only one religion, only one love, because God is love."
You will not find that statement in the Bible.
Revelation 17:1-5 says,
And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
You see that describes the very scene that you saw on the front cover of Fox’s book. Some day there will emerge a global religion. It will be in the name of Christ but it will be the religion of the antichrist. The world’s religions must come together and then there will be judgment.
Revelation 19 says,And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: For true and righteous [are] His judgments: for He hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood His servants at her hand. And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. (Revelation 19:1-3 KJV)
You see, in the past when man went this direction and turned away from God and turned to the gods, God warned and He brought judgment. It has happened in the past, repeatedly. And the Bible says in the last days when the religions of the world unite in a false religious system in the name of Christ, it will be judged. And what we observe taking place in the world today, the current trends that are happening, can be understood in light of the creation model.
What God has said about the past can be supported by what we see, in terms of the fossils and in terms of the layers of the earth. And when God tells us about things that will take place in the future, we can trust and believe it implicitly. We see the signs unfolding right now and evolution is part of what I believe is a great deception. There is nothing new under the sun. In our generation evolution has been part of a delusion, which is "science falsely so called."
