Introduction

Welcome. In this particular unit, we’re going to be building off of what we learned in context by developing meaning and application. So the parts that are important about this. How do we determine meaning? What is the role of the Holy Spirit in this entire process? And ultimately, how do we apply it to our lives? When we look at the early church and some of the challenges they had, they battled with Gnosticism and other false teachings. How do we know what’s right? How do we know what’s wrong? What can we use as a guide in determining accurate meaning and interpretation and application?
