The Shield of the Trinity or Scutum Fidei (Latin for "shield of faith") is a traditional Christian visual symbol which expresses many aspects of the doctrine of the Trinity.

Instructions:

1. Read the article, The Shield of the Trinity, provided in the reading section of this lesson. (We don’t often turn to a secular source like Wikipedia for theological information, but in this case the content is doctrinally sound and provides a good foundation from which to draw our material.)

2. Fill in the blanks of the diagram on the PDF.

3.Using the information you have gleaned from the article, the videos of this lesson, and your readings, prepare a devotional that you can share with a small group, Bible study or Sunday school class.
